Condensor or Evaporator Fan Blade
A buzzing sound could be cause by a fan blade hitting ice or another object when in operation. Both the evaporator fan – located in the freezer portion of the refrigerator and the condenser fan – located underneath or behind the refrigerator – have blades, so listen for where the sound is emanating from in order to trouble shoot it.
